The Welsh broadcaster often shares videos of her intense workout sessions on Instagram, earning her the affectionate nickname “Supervorders” from her enthusiastic fans.
When she’s not on television, exercising, piloting a plane, or snapping photos with Tom Cruise, Vorderman enjoys spending time with one of her five “special friends.”

At 62, Carol Vorderman recently marked an impressive 40 years in the television industry, boasting over 10,000 appearances in shows like the British game show Countdown, the morning show Lorraine, The Great Celebrity Bake Off, and ITV’s This Morning.
This stunning blonde is not just a pretty face; she’s also incredibly intelligent.
In 2014, the mother of two earned her private pilot’s license, and the following year, she joined NASA as a board member for the Challenger Center for Space Science Education, where she inspires children to engage more with space science.
When she’s not dazzling viewers on television, the former host of Have I Got News for You is hard at work in the gym, keeping her impressive physique in shape.
“Women in their 60s weren’t really encouraged to exercise when we were younger. As you age, it’s important to incorporate weight-bearing activities, stretching, and squats into your routine. If you skip it for even a short time, you start to feel it,” Vorderman explained in a chat with HELLO! “Since I work in a visual industry, I have to be more mindful of my appearance, just like other women in similar roles, even if it’s not something we always want to focus on.”
Recently, she posted some gym selfies showcasing her curves in a stylish grey crop top and snug leggings.
Vorderman wrote in her post, “Five gym sessions this week. It feels amazing to get back into the routine. Eating healthy, drinking plenty of water, walking a lot, and enjoying fresh air…this is truly my happy place.”
The images captured a glistening Vorderman as she lifted weights and performed cable rope curls, showcasing her curvy figure.
Fans quickly jumped in to praise her looks. One commented, “Fountain of youth! You look so youthful,” while another simply called her, “Supervorders.”
Some took the chance to leave playful remarks: “There’s no way I could keep up with you, but I’d love to try,” and another added, “I think I need to rewatch the third one a few more times to master the technique.”
A third fan, noting her circle of admirers, remarked, “What a way to spend a weekend with a special friend.”
This post followed shortly after Dermot O’Leary, her co-host on This Morning, made a light-hearted joke about her romantic life.
Vorderman, who was absent from the show that day, became an easy target for the 50-year-old comedian, who previously appeared on The X Factor UK.
His co-host Alison Hammond couldn’t help but burst into laughter when O’Leary delivered a perfectly timed joke about Vorderman’s “10-year-long no strings-attached relationships with various men, whom she affectionately refers to as her ‘special friends.’”
As they invited viewers to call in and chat with astrologer Hagan Fox, who offers insights based on the stars, one woman—who confessed to dating three men—called in seeking advice on what she described as “a bit of a love square.”
With a giggle, Hammond asked, “Did you just say love square?”
Dermot chimed in, “You wouldn’t happen to be Carol Vorderman, would you?”
Vorderman, known for her openness about her personal life as a former presenter of Loose Women, previously mentioned in an interview that her arrangement with multiple men works well for her since she’s not looking for love.
Since her breakup with journalist Des Kelly in 2007, Vorderman, who was previously married to Christopher Mather from 1985 to 1986 and to Patrick King, the father of her two children, from 1990 to 2000, has embraced the independence that comes with being single.
“I’m not really interested in getting married again or living with a man. I don’t want to have to take care of someone all the time. It’s time to challenge the outdated belief that one person should fulfill all your needs in life. That’s just unrealistic.”
Vorderman, who describes herself as not being a jealous person, shared that her partners are all single men who are also exploring other connections, emphasizing that “there’s no harm being done. It’s a joyful way to live.”
“They don’t know each other, but they’re aware of the situation. It’s a very open and honest arrangement,” she said about the five men she refers to as her “special friends.” “One has been a friend for 11 years, another for seven. My kids, Katie, 31, and Cameron, 25, are familiar with most of them.”
Carol Vorderman recently shared a delightful video of herself lip syncing and dancing to “It’s Raining Men,” showcasing her feelings about being single.
Her impressive dance skills caught the attention of fans, who flooded the comments with praise like, “Carol, that’s absolutely brilliant! Your dance moves are on point!” and “The Vord has triumphed over the Borg. Resistance is Futile.” One fan even chimed in, “What a stunning woman!”
It’s clear that Carol is dedicated to her fitness routine, and we admire her commitment to being true to herself and her relationships!
